CATWALK COLLECTION OF COUNTRY CLOTHING EPITOMISES "COSY CHIC"
Chanel's recent ready-to-wear spring 2010 runway show included a country clothing theme that has been described as "cosy chic".
Women's Wear Daily (WWD) said the collection is a celebration of country life combined with "loads of style".
Various types of jackets were teamed with floral dresses and knitwear, the magazine commented.
Suits had shorter skirts and there was one look matching a lace black skirt with safari shirt.
"It all made for a high-country fair," WWD added, giving rise to the numerous suggestions that chunky knits and Ugg style boots are likely to be bang on trend this season.
Indeed, one celebrity was recently seen out and about in an ensemble that included this type of flair.
Pictured in the Daily Mail, Kelly Clarkson teamed jeans and a checked shirt with Ugg style boots while she picked up some lunch in Manhattan.
Earlier in the week, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was also seen wearing the popular footwear while filming scenes for the show.
