COULD LADIES SLIPPERS HELP 'FOOT FACELIFT'?
A pair of cosy ladies slippers may be just the thing to relax feet after a hard day.
Liz Jones from the Daily Mail explains many females are carrying out a "facelift for feet", with a recent article in Marie Claire advising women on how best to improve this part of their body.
A rather extreme option is to insert fillers, which uses fine needles to inject a formulation that rehydrates the skin and can give it a youthful appearance.
But Ms Jones explains she is "aghast" with this treatment and instead suggests wearing more comfortable shoes instead of sky-high heels.
"After years of high shoes, I’m going to wear brogues, loafers, slippers and flip flops," she claims.
Women may be tempted to do the same and invest in some ladies slippers that are kinder to the feet than certain items of footwear.
The Daily Express also recently suggested slippers are ideal at this time of year, when temperatures can drop.
