KNITWEAR 'IS ALWAYS APPROPRIATE'
Ladies knitwear will always be a suitable addition to any spring outfit, it has been claimed.
Roni Proter, writing for the33tv.com, explains transitional weather can cause confusion for women and their wardrobes.
But "a lightweight cardigan or shawl is always appropriate", she notes.
The knitwear can come in handy because it serves a range of purposes. Firstly, those who sit outside for lunch run the risk of sunburn because solar rays are at their strongest between 10:00 and 16:00 local time.
A cardigan or light piece of knitwear could be the ideal cover-up to protect against this.
Ms Proter goes on to explain cardigans can also be of great use towards the end of the day when it gets cooler and cosy knitwear is just what is needed.
"The transitional weather of spring can really be a challenge", she adds, but with a bit of planning ahead, the season might be less of a fashion test.
