LADIES CASHMERE JUMPERS MAY BE A WISE INVESTMENT
Ladies cashmere jumpers may be a good investment for those wanting to create a classic collection of clothes.
According to Nina Garcia, a judge on Project Runway, purchasing good-quality items is the key to a great wardrobe.
Speaking to New York Magazine's The Cut, Ms Garcia stated: "Invest in a couple of really good things … then fill in the gaps with lower-priced pieces."
Ladies cashmere jumpers may be an example of the former, as they are known for their timeless, classic qualities and could last for many years.
Ms Garcia gave her fashion tips on the launch of her latest publication, Nina Garcia's Look Book: What to Wear for Every Occasion.
She suggested some of the hardest situations for which to dress are the most personal ones, such as interviews.
The one item every woman should have in her wardrobe is a little black dress, which is "effortlessly simple, but it can be mysterious and super-sophisticated", the style expert advised.
Women may find teaming this with a ladies cardigan alters their look and could transform the garment for a more casual occasion.
