LAYERING ETHICAL CLOTHING 'BIG THIS AUTUMN'
Layering ethical clothing is among the key trends for the autumn season, a correspondent asserts.
Liz Jones, writing for the Daily Mail, claims this is one of the best ways to take older items in the wardrobe and make them up to date.
She suggests that classy tailoring garments which have been popular in the past can be made more modern by layering them.
"Layering is new, too: a shirt under a waistcoat under a jacket under a coat slung over your shoulders: all very Krystle Carrington," she tell the news provider.
It is important not to go "totally bargain basement" with tailored clothing, she asserts.
Ms Jones writes that cocoon coats, pea coats, tweed jackets and trenches are highly visible across the catwalks.
Earlier this month, Times Dispatch's Julie Young claimed that layered ladies' knitwear is among the key fashion trends for autumn, with camisoles, t-shirts, scarves, vests and jackets all working well in this way.
