RELAX IN LADIES SLIPPERS AFTER WEARING "SEXY" HIGH HEELS
Ladies slippers could prove to be a comfortable addition to a woman's shoe collection, particularly for those who enjoy wearing high heels.
According to Lorraine Jones, podiatrist from the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, many females choose to wear towering shoes because it makes them feel "sexy".
However, she warns doing so may cause a certain amount of pain, due to the way high heels alter the wearer's posture and push their pelvis forwards.
"This means that your calf muscles shorten and your back is held in an unnatural position which can cause discomfort, particularly in the lower part of the back," Ms Jones explains.
Women may find wearing their cosy ladies slippers after removing their less comfortable shoes allows their feet to relax in the evening.
A recent study from Northumbria University revealed men do not tend to notice when the opposite sex wear high heels, suggesting females could be wasting their time.
