'REMEMBER COMFORT' WHEN SHOPPING FOR LADIES SLIPPERS
Ladies slippers may be selected for a variety of qualities - be them aesthetical or practical.
But one of the main things to take into consideration when purchasing the items is comfort, according to Wayne Wilkins from Helium.
He says garments and items designed to be worn in an evening need to be as cosy as possible if people want to ensure they get a decent amount of slumber.
"Sleep is the time of the night in which you want to relax as much as possible. Relaxation is a key contributing factor to ensuring a proper nights sleep," Mr Wilkins explains.
Choosing the right bedclothes allows this to occur, particularly if the garments are loose-fitting and comfortable.
Women could apply this approach to their choice of ladies slippers and opt for footwear that allows their feet and body to rest and unwind.
The Daily Mail recently noted a new book from sleep specialist Dr Matthew Edlund contained advice stating passive rest can be of huge benefit to the body and mind.
