SHEEPSKIN IS A 'TREND TO WATCH'
The Sunday Times style magazine yesterday (January 10th) reported that sheepskin clothing is being worn by the country's fashion icons.
"London's scenesters have found a stylish solution" to the winter weather, it claimed.
Daisy Lowe was pictured in a black sheepskin jacket worn over a tight-fitting cream dress.
Lowe wore black opaque tights with heels of the same colour to complement the jacket.
The model's jacket had thick turned-up sleeves, which exposed the snug sheepskin lining in a similar way to many who wear Ugg style boots.
According to the publication, sheepskin is stylish when worn in the form of a jacket, which has "cosy natural wool lining and a suede or leather biker outer layer".
This style, called the "flight jacket" promises to keep "your vitals toasty while maintaining your style edge".
It was also announced yesterday that Lowe's collaboration with high street retailer Peacocks, alongside mother Pearl Lowe, had boosted the store's Christmas trading figures.
