SINGER ANN SCOTT 'ENJOYS WEARING LADIES SLIPPERS'
Ladies slippers are an essential item for Irish singer and songwriter Ann Scott, she has revealed.
In a list of her favourite things for Herald.ie, Scott places ladies slippers and blankets at the top, stating she gets "very attached" to the two items.
"On long drives home from gigs, I look forward to … burying my feet into the slippers and padding around the place with tea and chocolate digestives," she admits.
Other items that feature on the rundown include a charm bracelet that has been in the family since 1967 and an old folk instrument called an autoharp.
Scott revealed she also loves to paint her nails in bold and vibrant hues, which livens them up because they have to be short for playing the guitar.
The star might consider investing in a ladies cashmere jumper to wear with her slippers, as a recent article in the Independent suggested many women are curling up in the knitwear to "hibernate" this winter.
