A ladies cashmere jumper could be one accessory that works well with trendy trousers in autumn.
Speaking about the upcoming trends of the season, Natalie Hartley, senior fashion editor at InStyle, said there are certain styles of trousers that will be highly popular.
And wearing them with a ladies cashmere jumper may prove to make this look even more successful.
Ms Hartley stated high-waisted trousers with wide legs are an example of the type of cut many designers are choosing.
But tapered legs are equally popular, as well as bell-bottoms, she continued, adding: "Straight-leg trousers are also great for adding length."
Those who want to accentuate their waists should go for garments that come higher up around the middle, whereas shorter women also suit this style when they are worn with a heel, Ms Hartley noted.
An article previously published in Vogue advised individuals to choose "luxe wools and sumptuous silks" when opting for trousers this autumn and winter.
