UGG STYLE BOOTS 'A POPULAR GIFT IDEA'
One sheepskin footwear expert has discussed some of the reasons why the Ugg style boot is so popular.
Having started her own website and dedicated blog, US-based retailer Elda Marshall has looked at how the fashionable item has become a staple request for birthday and Christmas gifts.
She explained her own granddaughters "absolutely love" the sheepskin footwear and admitted that although Ugg style boots are "a great trend for the younger generation", they are also perfect for other ages.
Ms Marshall went on to say there are currently a wide range of styles and colours available that cater for all types of buyer, but in addition, "new boots are coming out all the time".
The expert also discussed the long heritage of the footwear and how, having started life in Australia, it has since gone on to permeate not only the high street, but also the couture sector.
Last week, the Celebrity-Gossip website reported that Hollywood starlet Emily Blunt was one of the latest famous faces seen out and about in her Ugg style boots.
