She suggested pairing a sweater shawl with a scarf and trouser or tuxedo pants for a tailored look.
For those who travel frequently, Ms Nayer added that it is wise to invest in a few staple pieces which can be worn all year round, are easy to pack and do not wrinkle.
Female business travellers may wish to pair their knitwear with basic cotton-Lycra blend T-shirts, she pointed out, which keep their shape better after repeated washings than plain cotton alternatives.
