Celtic Sheepskin is the largest UK retailer of luxury sheepskin outerwear, boots, slippers and home-wares, and now stocks a range of knitwear and clothing for men, women and children. Based in Cornwall, The Celtic Sheepskin Co has been hand-making its own brand Sheepskin “Ugg” boots and slippers in its bespoke factory in Cornwall since the 1970’s selling directly to its customers via mail-order catalogues and the internet. Under the directorship of husband and wife team Nick and Kath Whitworth who took over the business in August 1990, annual sales have grown to £5.2 million, compared to £22,000 in 1990.
Celtic Sheepskin only uses sustainable, natural fibres and makes the majority of its products in the UK or Europe to reduce its carbon footprint and maintain its quality standards. The brand actively promotes recycling in its factory & offices, uses 100% recycled packaging and offers a carbon neutral delivery service.
