MARIAH CAREY WRAPS UP IN GREY KNITWEAR
After requesting 100 white doves, 20 kittens and butterfly shaped white confetti, one might have expected Mariah Carey to wear white for the Christmas lights' switch-on this week.
But instead the diva chose a tight fitting black outfit with grey ladies' knitwear for the event at Westfield Shopping Centre in London.
Mariah teamed the stylish knitted cardigan with grey knee-high boots and silver jewellery.
She was performing at what is Europe's biggest shopping centre and was nearly an hour late to arrive and switch on the lights.
Her ostentatious demands for kittens and doves were refused, but at her request there was white confetti and the screen was illuminated pink at her request.
Earlier this week the singer was blasted by Phillip Schofield, the host of This Morning, after turning up an hour late for a TV interview.
She is expected to perform on the X Factor this weekend alongside Britain's Got Talent winner Susan Boyle.
George Michael is also rumoured to perform at the Wham! themed evening.
